ABB Launches World's Fastest Electric Vehicle Charger

ABB today launched its innovative, all-in-one Electric Vehicle (EA) charging unit, which provides the fastest charging experience on the market.

ABB's new product, Terra 360, is a modular charging unit that can charge four vehicles simultaneously with dynamic power distribution. This means that while one vehicle is currently charging, another vehicle does not have to wait for charging. The new charger has a maximum output of 360 kW and means it can fully charge any electric car in 15 minutes or less, during grocery shopping or a coffee break.

The innovative lighting system guides the user through the charging process, showing the State of Charge (SoC) of the EV battery and the time remaining before the end of the optimum charging session. The world's fastest EV charger is also wheelchair accessible and features an ergonomic cable management system that helps drivers charge quickly and easily with minimal effort.

In addition to meeting the needs of dedicated EV drivers at gas stations, convenience stores and retail outlets, Terra 360 chargers can also be installed at an organization's commercial facilities to charge electric fleet cars, pickup trucks and trucks. This gives it the flexibility to charge four vehicles at once in one night, or to quickly recharge electric vehicles during the day.

Since Terra 360 charging units take up little space, they provide significant advantages for small warehouses or areas. Terra 360 chargers are fully customizable.
